Best wishes to George Karvounis (2004) – joining back up with Melbourne Victory U21s.
Following a frustrating period dealing with ongoing niggling injuries, George is back training and playing matches at Melbourne Victory U21s.
George spent 5-6 years training at FTS. From a young age, despite his quiet nature, you could see that George had a steely determination to develop his game. Quiet off the pitch, however a left-footed, explosive, creative, attacking weapon on the pitch. George is vicious in 1v1 scenarios, and can go inside and outside with explosive pace, and with his vision and passing from both inside tight pockets and wide areas, he is a dangerous attacker that can operate on both sides. George is also highly competitive and physical, so can also be developed as a modern day LFB. George’s talent was recognised quite early with his selection in the Joeys (Australian U15/U16 National Team).
George is top young guy from a very supportive family.
