FOOTBALL TECHNIQUE SCHOOL (FTS)

Football Technique School (FTS) is a football training curriculum that has a specific focus on the development of individual technique, skill and tactical awareness.
Please read more about the FTS Philosophy and FTS Vision.
Please read more about the FTS Trainers.
FTS is primarily designed to assist Boys and Girls aged 6 to 16 years of age.
FTS recognises the key developmental capacity of players aged 8 to 12 years and therefore conducts technical training programs to maximise player development during these key learning years. This is in line with the new FFA National Curriculum.
FTS also conducts developmental programs targeted for older players aged 16 to 20 years.
FTS is aimed at providing the next-generation of players with advanced technical abilities.
The FTS Name
The training program is based predominantly on the developmental systems of France, Netherlands and Spain. The background to the FTS acronym is two-fold:
Football Technique School
and
F = French Football
T = Total Football (Netherlands)
S = Spanish Football
The FTS Logo

The FTS logo incorporates the colours from the national flags of both
France and
the
Netherlands, along with the FTS acronym, of which āSā ties in with
Spain.
